Mosen Ltd welcomes Dr Zhixin Hu, Fire Safety and CFD Expert

Dr Zhixin Hu has joined Mosen Ltd as a senior engineer. Zhixin has been involved with fire safety, combustion and risk assessment since he finished his PhD in 2008 from University of Maryland in USA. During his PhD study, he also went to NIST as part of a research program, and enhanced his knowledge on fire modelling and the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS). His industry experience with fire safety comes from working on major projects involving buildings, tunnels, train stations and car parks. He has a focus on fire/smoke modelling and analysis, and he also developed his knowledge on various UK and international fire standards (including the UK’s ADB, NFPA, BS9999 and BS7974).
