Mosen Ltd contributes to new international standard on sustainable tunnel operation

Mosen Ltd is proud to have contributed to a new international standard on the sustainability of tunnel operation, published by the World Road Association (PIARC).

The report, Sustainability of Tunnel Operation: New Approaches, presents a comprehensive framework for enhancing the environmental, economic, and social performance of tunnels throughout their life cycle. It features international case studies that demonstrate practical innovations in energy efficiency, resilience, and sustainable management.

As a member of PIARC Technical Committee 4.4 (Tunnels), Dr Fathi Tarada, Managing Director of Mosen Ltd, contributed a case study on tunnel ventilation — a critical aspect of tunnel operation where energy efficiency and safety intersect.

This publication reflects PIARC’s global leadership in advancing sustainable infrastructure practice, and Mosen Ltd is honoured to have supported the work through Dr Fathi Tarada’s contribution to shaping the future of tunnel sustainability.
