We are delighted that our contribution on “Door Forces in Underground Infrastructure” has won Crossrail’s Learning Legacy award for best paper. The paper reviews current standards and makes recommendations for the maximum allowable opening forces on doors within evacuation and intervention routes impacted by the tunnel ventilation system.
