SaRS Event Open for Registration – Road Tunnel Safety

The 1999 Mont Blanc road tunnel fire increased the emphasis on tunnel safety. During this webinar, kindly arranged by the Safety and Reliability Society (SaRS), we will hear about what has happened since and how tunnel safety is now assessed and managed. Dr Fathi Tarada has worked on numerous road and rail tunnels and he will give an overview of what has changed over the last 20 years and examples of current projects, as well as the evolution of standards from bodies such as the World Road Association (PIARC).
